The Noss Vision published to mark the start of the public consultation process envisages a low carbon and highly sustainable development.
The owners are investigating potential sources of renewable energy including:

Ground source heating and cooling; |

Solar power. |
Energy efficient new buildings are also planned.
Sustainable transport is being encouraged with a new cycle and footway linking the site to the Higher Ferry connecting Kingswear to Dartmouth.
A regular passenger ferry service direct from Noss to Dartmouth will also be provided. |
