Page 7 of 10. Bow Creek to Tuckenhay
 
  Bow Creek entrance   Continuing upstream, head for the red can buoy (2) off the entrance to Bow Creek. Close by there is also a green conical buoy (3). Pass between these buoys, turning to starboard after the green buoy to head for Duncannon and further up the main river – or turning to port after the red can buoy to enter Bow Creek to visit Tuckenhay – as we shall do.

  Tuckenhay   Click for larger versionAt Tuckenhay, at the head of Bow Creek is the Maltsters pub with a floating pontoon for visiting craft. After the first couple of bends in Bow Creek, beacons mark the channel; first a green beacon, followed by a series of red beacons. Go close to these beacons, leaving the red ones to port on the way in and to starboard on the way back to the main river – as shown in the picture below.
