Page 4 of 10. Dittisham to Galmpton

Dittisham   Just past the Anchor Stone the pretty village of Dittisham can be seen to port. There are some visitors moorings and short stay dinghy berths are available on the Dittisham pontoon, so a visit ashore (e.g., to the Ferry Boat Inn) is a practical proposition. On the opposite bank, Greenway Quay is owned by the National Trust which also owns Greenway Gardens a short walk away. A small passenger ferry operates between Dittisham and Greenway.

Around Flat Owers   Turn to starboard after Greenway Quay and follow the moorings on the starboard shore all the way round to Galmpton Quay, thereby avoiding the Flat Owers bank.

Galmpton Quay   This next picture is taken closer to Galmpton Quay at about half tide. The Flat Owers bank is just uncovered and clearly visible. Keep close to the starboard shore.
